“A joyful heart is good medicine…” — Proverbs 17:22

Church and comedy might not seem like an obvious pair—but maybe that’s exactly why you need to come experience it for yourself!
On Thursday, June 6, we’re throwing open our doors (and our lawn!) for an evening packed with food, fun, and seriously good laughs—headlined by one of the most hilarious, high-energy comedians on today’s clean comedy circuit: Leland Klassen!
If you’ve seen Leland on Dry Bar Comedy, Just For Laughs, or Thou Shalt Laugh on Netflix, you already know his blend of awkward charm, physical humor, and “say-what-we’re-all-thinking” storytelling brings audiences to their feet. With over two decades of comedy experience—from small-town churches to national TV shows and even feature films—Leland’s mastered the art of connecting with people through laughter. He’s not just funny; he’s real, relatable, and refreshingly clean.
Whether he’s riffing on life’s little frustrations, his own quirky insecurities, or finding joy in everyday moments, Leland’s humor reminds us that laughter is one of God’s sweetest gifts—and we’re meant to enjoy it together.

Why We Host Comedy At Church
