Moving Towards Mentorship | Second Sermon of 'Lean on Me' Series
Last week we began our series on biblical mentorship called "Lean On Me." Biblical mentorship is getting involved enough in each other lives to allow ourselves to have 'iron sharpening iron' moments together. Our congregation needs mentorship. Mentorship is a gift uniquely available to the church. This message dives deeper into the "How" of mentorship. How do I do this? How do I start this process of mentorship. This week we continue this series by sharing a biblical example of establishing these kinds of mentorship relationships. Jesus was a perfect mentor to his disciples, specifically John and Andrew, and we read more about it today in John chapter 1.
