missions month 2026

How Can They Hear?

February 1–22

This February at Greeley First Assembly, we’re joining the 2026 Assemblies of God World Missions theme: How Can They Hear? — inspired by Romans 10:14, where Paul asks, “How can they hear without someone telling them?” and reminds us that gospel access isn’t guaranteed unless someone goes, prays, and gives to send the good news.

Christ has called every believer to participate in His mission — some go, some pray, some give, and every role matters in making the hope of Jesus known to a world that hasn’t heard yet.

About Missions Month

Romans 10:14  “How can they hear without someone telling them?”

During Missions Month, we’ll turn our focus to God’s heart for the nations and the call to make His name known. Throughout February, we’ll welcome guest missionaries and ministry leaders as Sunday morning speakers, followed by a light lunch and Q&A time to hear their stories and ask questions.
On Wednesday nights, we’ll gather for missions-focused services with additional guest speakers. We’ll also invite our church family to prayerfully participate in a Faith Promise, committing to give faithfully so others may hear the gospel.

Sunday Gatherings

Throughout the month, we’ll host four guest speakers — missionaries and ministry leaders from around the world and right here at home — sharing what God is doing in different fields, cultures, and stories of gospel transformation.

Sunday Lunch Q&A

After Sunday services, stick around for a light lunch and Q&A time with our speakers. Ask your questions and hear firsthand how God is working in places where many have never had the chance to respond to the gospel.
Spots are limited to a Max 30 people.
Signups are in the lobby during Missions Month.

Wednesday Missions Nights

Each Wednesday night in February, join us for special missions-focused gatherings with a new  speaker each week and opportunities to engage, learn, pray, and reflect together.

What is a Faith Promise?

As part of Missions Month, we’re encouraging everyone in our church family to participate in a Faith Promise challenge — a prayerful commitment to give faithfully toward global missions so others can hear the life-saving message of Jesus. Giving through Faith Promise helps resource missionaries and ministries spreading the gospel where it hasn’t yet taken root.
God’s heart is for all peoples to hear and respond to the gospel, but billions around the world still haven’t heard the name of Jesus. This year’s theme pushes us beyond comfort and calls us to be part of God’s answer to Paul’s question: Will we be the reason someone hears the good news for the first time?
We will have Faith Promise forms available Sundays and Wednesdays for you to prayerfully consider what God has laid on your heart.

Get Involved

Here is what you can do during Missions Month 2026

Come to as many gatherings as you can

Make it a priority to attend Sunday services and Wednesday missions nights throughout the month. Each gathering is an opportunity to hear real stories of how God is moving around the world.

Ask questions and listen with open hearts

Lean in as our guest speakers share their experiences and answer questions. Listening helps us grow in understanding God’s heart for people and places beyond our own.

Pray for the nations and for those bringing the gospel

Pray for the missionaries, ministries, and people groups represented during Missions Month. Ask God how He wants to use you to be part of His mission.

Give through a Faith Promise to help send and support workers

Through Faith Promise, you can help support missionaries and ministries sharing the gospel where it hasn’t yet been heard. Giving faithfully allows others to hear the hope of Jesus.
