Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly is the event?
The party is in the back lot of Greeley First Assembly of God at 3000 W 16th Street. Look for the entrance at the southwest corner of the building. it'll be marked with signage and cones. Parking is available in the front lot, with overflow in the back once the front fills up.
What food will be available?
Free Hot dogs (grilled and fire-pit style), hamburgers, chips, apple crumble, watermelon, Red White & Blue Bomb Pops, and s'mores at the bonfire. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.

There is a potential for a food truck to have food available for purchase on site - stay tuned!
Can my kids come?
Absolutely! There's a dedicated kids area with chalk, bubbles, glow sticks, hula hoops, freeze dance, and more. There will also be a separate closed-off sparkler zone where parents and kids can enjoy sparklers safely together.
Is this really free?
Yes! It's completely free and open to everyone. We're hosting this as an outreach to our neighborhood. Bring your whole family.
I want to bring my own fireworks. Is that allowed?
Yes, with two requirements:
  • Fireworks must be legal and purchased from a stand here in Greeley.
  • All fireworks at the event are lit by our designated fireworks leader, not individually or by the families. Any fireworks you bring will need to be turned into the Welcome Table upon arrival. This is a firm safety policy and keeps the fun going for everyone.
I don't attend your church. Am I still welcome?
100%. This event is designed for our neighbors just as much as our congregation. Come as you are, meet some people, and enjoy a great Fourth of July.
